Ascension Annual Plant Sale: April 27, 8am – 2pm

Ascension Lutheran Church Plant Sale is right around the corner! In addition to the perennials, annuals, house plants, hand-painted flower pots, and other yard art we offer, we are teaming up with Heimos Greenhouses to provide beautiful annuals, hanging baskets, pouches, color bowls, planters and edible plants. These are GREAT Mother’s Day gifts and brighten home, church, and business landscapes. Funds raised support church, school and community youth activities such as the Easter Egg Hunt and Vacation Bible School. The sale will be held at Word of Life Lutheran School.


  1. Pre-order beautiful annuals, hanging baskets and fresh edibles to guarantee we will have what YOU want.
    •  Mail or drop off order form and check in an envelope marked “Ascension Plant Sale” at Ascension Lutheran Church, 5347 Donovan St., 63109. Parents of Word of Life students may send the order form and check back to school. Pick up will take place at the Plant Sale in Word of Life Lutheran School located next to Ascension Lutheran Church. Deadline for pre-ordering is April 7.

  2. Shop the day of the sale for annuals, perennials, bulbs, seeds, houseplants, hand-painted pots, and garden accessories with no pre-order necessary.

On-Site Sale: Browse the selection of perennial and annual plants, ground covers, house plants, bulbs, seeds, and garden accessories on site at Word of Life Lutheran School, 6535 Eichelberger, on April 27 from 8:00am – 2:00 pm.

WATCH for convenient pre-order opportunities in the church lobby after services in March and April.

Do you have plants, seeds, bulbs or garden accessories to donate? Drop them off at Word of Life School on Friday, April 26 after 3:30 p.m. Please include a tag with the name of the plant, flower color, and sun/shade requirement. Want to help with the sale? See contact information below.
